Are there any limits for sending emails?

To help prevent spam and keep things manageable, we limit how many emails an account can send per hour to 500. This should be plenty for most sites that can fit on shared. If you'll be sending mass emails to thousands of addresses, we recommend using an email service like MailChimp instead, or switching to one of our virtual or dedicated servers with no limits.

What happens if I reach this limit? Can I have it raised?

If an account reaches the limit of 500 emails in an hour, further send attempts will be blocked for the remainder of that hour. You'll receive an email if this happens. We may allow increased limits in some situations, which can be requested by opening a support ticket from our client area.
