Connect to RMS

All shared plans include access to our RMS media server, which allows Dolphin to use advanced media features in the Flash apps. Features like video comments, A/V Flash chat, and others depend on RMS to work. There’s no bandwidth or domain limit for RMS itself.

RMS requires domains to be whitelisted to allow a connection. The main domain on the shared account should already be whitelisted and ready to use. Please open a support ticket if additional domains need to be whitelisted.

You can enable RMS in Dolphin from the Admin Panel => Modules => Flash Apps. Click the Settings icon to open the Flash Apps settings, and in the settings window, change these settings to:

  • Use RMS: Check
  • RMS Address: 69.64.32.167
  • RMS Port: 1935
  • RMS HTTP Port: 5080

Leave all other options as-is and click Save. If the connection was successful, there will be no message.
